Make sure Medieval II is NOT running when you do this or the data will be overwritten.

Go your Medieval 2 installation directory (by default: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War).

  • From here you open "medieval2.preference.cfg" with notepad
  • Scroll down and find [network]
  • Beside the "use_ip" field put in your Hamachi address
  • Close your "medieval2.preference.cfg" and choose save on exit.

Now Medieval 2 will work with Hamachi.

Note

If you try enter LAN mode in Medieval II without Hamachi running you will get an error.
