Hamachi Talk:Mediation server has rejected your login request
From LogMeInWiki
Problem No. 1 - resolution does not work!
Please can somebody give me a hint - since suggested "Go into Preferences > System > Manage service > and revert to application mode" cannot work because option Run Hamachi as system service cannot be pressed
then #1 is not the cause of your issue, and one of the other two is. paul-lmi 10:05, 22 October 2007 (CDT)

none of the three possible reasons applicable
Short: turned the laptop into standby last night, started to work again this morning and got the exact error message. No config changes, no hacks and no disk corruption! I Only got ot know Hamachi yesterday and everything worked fine when I left office yesterday.
Seems there must be at least one fourth, undiscovered reason for this behaviour.
Yes, there is a fourth reason not yet discribed here: the 'changes frequently setting' in the ZoneAlarm firewall. Please check the [Zonealarm page] here in the wiki.
No Options Work to Fix my Hamachi
What if none of the four options works? I have tried all the different remeides to makes my hamachi work after getting the 'Mediation server has rejected your login request' error but nothing works. I dont have ZoneAlarm and I deleted that folder everything has been tried but it still doesnt work. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem as above. All 4 ways of fixing this do not work and I really want to use Hamachi. How can I fix this?
When all else fails
If you've done all of the steps and the article, and are still receiving the error message, it's because you've missed a step. The most common is not disabling Hamachi fully before deleting the configuration folder. Hamachi writes this folder every time it closes, so you can't delete it with Hamachi running.
I need help with this issue
Hi, i have the same issue regarding " Mediation server has rejected your login request "
I understand from the Resolution section, I am required to go into Preferences > System > Manage service > and revert to application mode. But i'm not getting the option in my Hamachi. Hence this has not allowed me to go on further into the solution.
Please kindly advise on how i should deal with this matter.
Fourth Reason: Account Expiry After Inactivity Period?
I have had the same problem with all of my Hamachi accounts (PCs / Laptops). I did not use Hamachi for quite a while (maybe a year), but left everything unchanged otherwise. Now I was unable to log in any of the clients, they were all rejected. I guess the logical consequence is that Hamachi kills inactive accounts after a while.
What worked for me
I also didn't log in forever, and when I eventually did I was receiving this error. I tried all of the solutions on this page and none of them worked. I'm running Vista. I was finally able to get it to work by doing the following:
- Close Hamachi
- Disable Windows Firewall (Control Panel)
- Rename Hamachi Folder in %APPDATA%
- Open Hamachi
- Create new account, DO NOT use the same username as last time.
Hope this helps. - Sean Feeney
